To my colleague, one time boss and business partner, we got on well together, enjoyed swimming at lunch times and shared interests in classical music, opera and piano. Occasionally our two families met together to swim or to enjoy a musical afternoon. I learnt a lot from Alan particularly in auditing and report writing. Thanks Alan, it was good to have known you and I will always remember you.
